Mike started his photography career down at the local hockey rink shooting youth hockey tournaments and various other youth sports. Later on, he was hired by USA TODAY Sports covering the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Mariners, Portland Trail Blazers, ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (UFC), Seattle Seahawks, University of Washington Football & Basketball programs, and many more. He has images have been published in Sports Illustrated, ESPN, LA Times, USA Today, FOX Sports, and many more.
